Volleyball Recap: Grace Grothaus and Jaiyden Huston Secure Win for Hamilton/Warsaw

Hamilton/Warsaw won the last time they faced Abingdon/Avon and things went their way on Saturday too. The Titans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tornadoes.

Leading Hamilton/Warsaw to victory were Jaiyden Huston and Grace Grothaus. Huston had four aces and one block, while Grothaus had eight kills and two blocks. What's more, Grothaus posted two digs, the most she's had over her last three matches.

Hamilton/Warsaw's record is now 11-14. As for Abingdon/Avon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-25 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hamilton/Warsaw and Abingdon/Avon will both be playing ROWVA/Williamsfield the next time they take the court. The Tornadoes will head out to face the Cougars at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Titans will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
