Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Salado). They walked away with a 13-9 victory over the Burnet Bulldogs on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on five straight.

The team relied heavily on Bernhard Amann, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last 11 matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Waters, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Salado's victory bumped their record up to 8-5-1. As for Burnet, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5.

Salado will have a chance to go back-to-back against Burnet: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
