Gulf Coast strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Moore Haven Terriers.

While Gulf Coast won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16.

Sophia Schultz paced Gulf Coast's offense, picking up nine kills. Schultz got some help from Vanessa Lange and her 22 assists. Andreya Karakosta controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Moore Haven lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kulipa Julian, who had nine digs and two assists. Another player making a difference was Tara Person, who had nine assists and four digs.

Gulf Coast's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Moore Haven, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
