Volleyball Recap: Montgomery County Takes a Loss

Montgomery County lost against Boonville back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Pirates.

Addison Johnson was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 16 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in each of the last six games she's played dating back to last season.

Montgomery County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Boonville, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Montgomery County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Hallsville on the 30th. As for Boonville, they will head out on the road to take on California at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
