Basketball Game Preview: Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors vs. Sunnyside Christian Knights

The Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Sunnyside Christian Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for Almira-Coulee-Hartline against Willapa Valley as the squad secured a 58-22 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Sunnyside Christian got the win against Northport on Saturday by a conclusive 51-30.

Almira-Coulee-Hartline's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-11. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.8 points over those games. As for Sunnyside Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Almira-Coulee-Hartline was able to grind out a solid win over Sunnyside Christian in their previous matchup back in February of 2019, winning 48-38. Will Almira-Coulee-Hartline repeat their success, or does Sunnyside Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
