Basketball Recap: Edgewood-Colesburg Takes a Loss

Edgewood-Colesburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The game between them and the Lisbon Lions didn't end well, with the Edgewood-Colesburg Vikings falling 73-58.

Edgewood-Colesburg's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Lisbon, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Edgewood-Colesburg will head out to square off against North Cedar at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lisbon, they will face off against North Linn at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lisbon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully North Linn likes a good challenge.
