Soccer Recap: Albemarle Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Thursday. Albemarle fell just short of Thomasville by a score of 2-1. Albemarle just can't catch a break and has now endured five defeats in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Aylin Briseno, which was the first she's scored this season.

Albemarle's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Thomasville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.

Albemarle didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against North Stanly on the 5th. As for Thomasville, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-2 defeat against Lexington on the 5th.
