Poquoson and Bruton are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2022, but not for long. The Islanders are taking a road trip to take on the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Poquoson has three straight victories, Bruton has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Monday, Poquoson earned a 3-1 win over Lafayette.

Meanwhile, Bruton lost 3-0 to Grafton on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12, 25-18.

Poquoson's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Bruton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Poquoson was able to grind out a solid win over Bruton when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Islanders since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
