 Vaux Big Picture's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of Martin Luther King by a score of  39-37.
 Vaux Big Picture lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Micheal Jones, who  scored nine points along with three  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kurtis Jackson, who  scored 15 points.
 Vaux Big Picture  struggled to get the ball back on offense and  finished the game with only three  offensive rebounds. That's the fewest  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Martin Luther King was led to victory by  Kyle Baylor and  Benito Scott.  Baylor  scored ten points, while  Scott  scored ten points. The  match was  Baylor's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Adrese Hill, who  scored six points.
 Vaux Big Picture bumped their record down to 1-5 with that  defeat, which was their seventh straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Martin Luther King, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vaux Big Picture's road trip will continue as they head out to face Roxborough at 3:15  p.m.  on December 19th. As for Martin Luther King, they will  face off against Tacony Academy Charter at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Tacony Academy Charter is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
