Soccer Recap: Le Mars Takes a Loss

Le Mars was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to the Unity Christian Knights. Le Mars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Unity Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Le Mars' record is now 1-7. As for Unity Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Le Mars will head out to face off against Sioux City East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Le Mars will be up against Sioux City East's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.83 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Unity Christian, they will face off against Jefferson at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday.
