Football Recap: Swan Valley Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Swan Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They were the clear victors by a 31-7 margin over the Freeland Falcons on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Vikings have posted against the Falcons since October 11, 2019.

Swan Valley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kam Reynolds and Kenneth Kowalski. Kowalski got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.3 points over those games. As for Freeland, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.

Swan Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 28-7 victory against Glenn on the 19th. As for Freeland, they have also already played their next game, a 48-7 win against Powers Catholic on the 19th.
