 Saegertown put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season  on Saturday. They blew past the Cambridge Springs Devils 12-1. Winning may never get old, but Saegertown sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
  Wyatt Burchill and  Levi Gardner were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound,  Burchill   struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Meanwhile,  Gardner   pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Burchill has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive pitching appearances. At the plate,  Burchill  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-4, while  Gardner  scored a  run while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  DeMarcus Manning was  incredible,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Everett Gardner, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 On Cambridge Springs' side,  Joshua Gorton was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing three bases while going 3-for-3.
 Saegertown's victory bumped their record up to 8-1-1. As for Cambridge Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
 Saegertown will head out on the road to  challenge  Union City at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Union City is coming into the  match with four straight  wins at home,  so Saegertown will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum. As for Cambridge Springs, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Cranberry Area at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday. Cambridge Springs is facing Cranberry Area at the right time seeing as Cranberry Area is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
