Hector put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Acorn Tigers 13-2. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Sarena Myers made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 11 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, Abigail Dodson and Addison Campbell did most of the damage at the plate: Dodson went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Campbell scored three runs while going 4-for-4. Dodson also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Cassie Millsaps was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Hector pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Acorn, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
