Westfall is 9-1 against Southeastern since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Mustangs will welcome the Panthers at 5:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Piketon hit Westfall with a five-run third inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mustangs came up short against the Redstreaks, falling 10-4. The Mustangs have struggled against the Redstreaks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Riley Rigsby was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Geiger, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Southeastern was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Unioto. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Southeastern saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracie Brown, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Ally Fisher was another, earning one run and two stolen bases.

Westfall's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Southeastern, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.

Westfall came up short against Southeastern when the teams last played back in May of 2025, falling 6-3. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
