Basketball Recap: Raymondville Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Raymondville had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 51-36 win over the IDEA Robindale Aviators. The Bearkats pushed the score to 42-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Aviators cut but never quite recovered from.

Carson Tamez was a one-man wrecking crew for Raymondville as he made all 5 shots he took to post 13 points and six boards. Colt Cavazos was another key player, putting up nine points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Raymondville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 28 consecutive matchups.
