Baseball Recap: Franklin Snags Seventh Victory in Last Eight Games

Franklin won the last time they faced Glenn and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Patriots never let the Rockets get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Franklin got a massive performance out of Ryan Davis, who went 4-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI Davis has posted since back in April. Landon Gross was another key player, going 4-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Franklin is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Glenn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-24.

Coming up, Franklin will be playing at home against Cranbrook Kingswood at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Glenn, they will square off against Greenhills at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
