Volleyball Recap: Des Moines Christian Takes a Loss

Des Moines Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wapsie Valley Warriors. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Des Moines Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Wapsie Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-7.

Coming up, Des Moines Christian will square off against Woodward-Granger at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wapsie Valley, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Norwalk on the 27th.
