Providence Grove took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against East Davidson, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Patriots had just enough and edged out the Golden Eagles 3-2 on Wednesday. Providence Grove's winning goal came courtesy of Kevin Bautista.

Providence Grove's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 7-3-5. As for East Davidson, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 4-10-2.
