Softball Recap: Eunice Comes Up Short

Eunice was the 10-9 winner over Non Varsity Opponent when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. Eunice fell just short of Non Varsity Opponent by a score of 10-8 on Monday.

Peyton Williams was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Halley Jones also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Eunice now has a losing record of 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eunice will welcome Mesilla Valley Christian School at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will host Pyramid Lake at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Non Varsity Opponent will need to watch out since Pyramid Lake has now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
