Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hardin). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 56-20 win over the Anahuac Panthers. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hornets as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Hardin's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-19. As for Anahuac, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Hardin and Anahuac could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings.
