Soccer Recap: Bowie Takes a Loss

Bowie managed to keep up with San Elizario until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bowie Bears came up short against the San Elizario Eagles, falling 4-1. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Bowie's goal came courtesy of Kenya Contreras, who's now up to three this season.

Bowie's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for San Elizario, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2-2.

Bowie has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Clint on the 4th. As for San Elizario, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Riverside on the 4th.
