There's no place like home for Burbank, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in March. They never let the Maranatha Minutemen get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Monday. The Bulldogs not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since February 27th.

Kayla Mcpherson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Mcpherson was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Kassandra Davila was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Samantha Cafferty, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Burbank hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 2-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Burbank's win bumped their record up to 4-9-1. As for Maranatha, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
