Quantico proved they can win big last Friday (they won by four) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Christ Chapel Academy 1-0. Quantico's winning goal came courtesy of Liliana Ramos.

Quantico is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five matchups. As for Christ Chapel Academy, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Quantico and Christ Chapel Academy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. The Warriors will take on Wakefield School at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (235 vs. 94). Meanwhile, Christ Chapel Academy (ranked 303rd) will meet Virginia Academy (ranked 18th) at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
