2B Southeast recap September 17, 2013
Asotin scaled the state rankings by moving to 189 from 240 this week, the biggest jump in 2B Southeast. The Panthers were able to make move up by beating Colfax 38-0.
Waitsburg/Prescott took down Weston-McEwen/Griswold 49-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Owen Lanning threw for 93 yards and ran for 57 yards in the win.
The Tigers' dynamic duo of Lanning and Devin Acevedo proved to be unstoppable against the Tiger Scots, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Trenton Kitselman was a key player and the best on defense this week as Waitsburg/Prescott defeated Weston-McEwen/Griswold. The 5-foot-11 senior grabbed 2.5 sacks.
Rudolph was the best running back in the league this week. In 34 carries, he ran for 301 yards as Tri-Cities Prep defeated the Tiger Scots. Teammate Dane Pedersen added to the ground attack by rushing for 113 yards.
5-foot-11 quarterback Lanning of Waitsburg/Prescott is the league leader in passing yards this season with 289. He has also thrown 3 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Bennett Pedersen. The Tri-Cities Prep star has 5 catches for 161 yards.
A big matchup in 2B Southeast this week will be when Asotin takes on Dayton. Salvador Lopez's team is currently in second, while the Bulldogs are in fifth.
