Basketball Recap: Thetford Academy Beats Woodstock for Their Eighth Straight Win

With a playoff win on the line, Thetford Academy rose to the challenge on Saturday. They beat the Woodstock Wasps by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 43-40. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won eight contests in a row.

Thetford Academy's victory bumped their record up to 19-3-1. As for Woodstock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-9.

Looking ahead, Thetford Academy will host Winooski at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Winooski will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Thetford Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Woodstock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
