Volleyball Recap: West Brunswick Comes Up Short

West Brunswick lost against Ashley back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans came up short against the Screaming Eagle, falling 3-0. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Ashley scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 25-18.

West Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Ashley, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

West Brunswick does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ashley, they will square off against Hoggard at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
