Volleyball Recap: Del Oro Comes Up Short

Del Oro lost against Arvin back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Suns lost 3-0 to the Bears. The Suns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-14.

Leading Arvin to victory were Kayleene Pantoja and Ximena Juarez. Pantoja had 15 digs and five aces, while Juarez had five aces and four assists. That's the most aces Juarez has posted since back in August.

Del Oro's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Arvin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8-3 record this season.

Del Oro has already played their next contest (against Foothill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Arvin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Golden Valley on the 15th.
