Basketball Recap: Mitchell Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mitchell can now relate to. They lost to the Washington Warriors on the road by a 55-38 margin on Thursday. The Kernels have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meetings.

Mitchell's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Washington, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-3.

As of now, neither Mitchell nor Washington have any future games scheduled.
