Football Recap: Kelly Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Kelly, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Marine Leadership Academy Bulldogs a 26-0 shutout on Thursday. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 31-6 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.

The win got Kelly back to even at 1-1. As for Marine Leadership Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kelly will host Harlan at 11:00 a.m. on the 13th. As for Marine Leadership Academy, they will take on DRW College Prep at 11:00 a.m. on the 13th.
