Basketball Game Preview: Keenan Raiders vs. Aynor Blue Jackets

The Keenan Raiders will face off against the Aynor Blue Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Keenan is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games.

Last Tuesday, Keenan took their match with ease, bagging a 65-11 win over Newberry. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 25 points or more this season.

Keenan found their leader in freshman Taelor Lee-Sutton, who went 10-for-20 to rack up 22 points along with six assists and six steals. Lee-Sutton's evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Aareonna Cuaghman, who went 5-for-9 on her way to 12 points and eight steals.

Keenan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in ten consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Aynor took a blow against Loris on Tuesday, falling 65-19.

Keenan's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.0 points over those games. As for Aynor, they now have a losing record of 12-13.
