Douglas put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their undefeated season alive. They never let Safford get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. Give Douglas' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Safford from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. JanCarlo Abril led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Douglas' win bumped their record up to 3-0-1. As for Safford, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Douglas will take on Tanque Verde at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Safford, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Catalina at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
