Basketball Recap: Amer Morrison Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Westover

Richmond Senior lost to Westover back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Raiders came out on top against the Wolverines by a score of 72-61. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Richmond Senior to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amer Morrison, who shot 46% from the field en route to 16 points in addition to seven assists and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Jayden Hamiton, who posted 17 points and seven boards.

Richmond Senior's record is now 2-0. As for Westover, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Richmond Senior has already played their next contest, an 83-72 win against Scotland on the 9th. As for Westover, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 71-70 victory against Hoke County on the 9th.
