Basketball Recap: Richmond Senior Find Success

Richmond Senior lost to Westover back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Raiders walked away with a 72-61 victory over the Wolverines. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Amer Morrison went supernova, going 6-for-13 to rack up 16 points in addition to seven assists and seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Chance Crowder, who posted two points and three steals.

Richmond Senior's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Westover, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Richmond Senior wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 83-72 victory against Scotland on the 9th. As for Westover, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-70 win against Hoke County on the 9th.
