Volleyball Recap: Charlotte Trojans vs. La Pryor Bulldogs
Charlotte lost against La Pryor back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15, 25-13.
La Pryor was led to victory by Marik Ortiz and Miranda Mata. Ortiz had 14 kills and one block, while Mata had seven kills.
Charlotte's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for La Pryor, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.
We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Charlotte is set to take on their familiar foe Sabinal at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, La Pryor will square off against rival Stacey at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
