On Wednesday Alex Clovery pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The effort marked the fewest earned runs Clovery has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with less than one walk. This year, he has an ERA of 6.18 over 5.7 innings pitched.
