Volleyball Recap: Iroquois Takes a Loss

Iroquois kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots. The Chiefs have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Leading Hitchcock-Tulare to victory were Cambree Hoekman and Avarie Estey. Hoekman had seven digs and two aces, while Estey had four digs.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Hitchcock-Tulare, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Iroquois does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hitchcock-Tulare, they will head out to face off against Aberdeen Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Patriots their first taste of in-conference action this season.
