Legacy came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they left with even more momentum. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 49-48 victory over the Wylie Bulldogs.

Legacy has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Wylie, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-10.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Abilene the next time they take the court. Legacy will host Abilene at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Wylie will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
