Absegami had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Toms River South Indians. Considering the Braves have won six matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Yaceana Scriven was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high.

Absegami always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Toms River South only posted an OBP of .240.

Absegami's record is now 10-2. As for Toms River South, they dropped their record down to 9-10 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Absegami will head out on the road to take on Atlantic County Institute of Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Toms River South, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Central Regional at 7:00 p.m.
