Trimble Tech took a 15-run defeat the last time they faced off against Arlington Heights, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 win over the Yellowjackets on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Trimble Tech pushed their record up to 9-12 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Arlington Heights, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Trimble Tech will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Wyatt at 7:00 p.m. The Bulldogs are facing the Chaparrals at the right time seeing as the Chaparrals are stuck on a six-game losing streak. Arlington Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
