Oak Hill waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They secured a 58-53 W over the Holy Savior Menard Eagles. That's two games straight that the Rams have won by exactly five points.

Despite the loss, Holy Savior Menard saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Fritz Garganta almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Garganta has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Peyton Procell, who posted 17 points.

Oak Hill has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.1 points per game. As for Holy Savior Menard, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-23.

Oak Hill will challenge Avoyelles Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Avoyelles Charter's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. As for Holy Savior Menard, they will square off against Kinder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kinder will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Holy Savior Menard surely won't give up without a fight.
