Volleyball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Sterling Black Bears. The Celtics were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Black Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Trinity was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 20 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 0-9-1. As for Sterling, they moved to 4-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Black Bears beat Trinity by a score of 2-0 later that day.
