If Barrington wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played East Providence, they should've done a better job of containing Alex Robinson. The Townies put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday with plenty of help from Robinson, who had 30 assists and two aces. Robinson is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 22 every time he's taken the court this season.

East Providence not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Barrington between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-20.

East Providence's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7. As for Barrington, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

After both having extra time off, East Providence and La Salle Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Barrington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
