Desert Oasis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cali Scarpaci, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Bermudez, who scored 13 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Desert Oasis and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Durango, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Desert Oasis will head out on the road to face off against Basic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Basic is ranked tenth, while Desert Oasis is ranked ninth). As for Durango, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Clark at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Clark focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Saturday.
