Basketball Game Preview: United Longhorns vs. United South Panthers

The United Longhorns will head out to square off against the United South Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. United knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully United South likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, United lost to Alexander on the road by a 87-70 margin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (69), the Longhorns still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, United South ended up a good deal behind Alexander on Friday and lost 74-59. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

United South's loss dropped their record down to 20-12. As for United, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-10.

United skirted past United South 61-59 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for United since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
