Baseball Recap: Mountain View Christian Academy Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Mountain View Christian Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets on Thursday, falling 11-1. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Mountain View Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ayden Quick, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

The victory made it two in a row for Randolph-Macon Academy and bumps their season record up to 4-0-1.

Looking ahead, Randolph-Macon Academy will challenge Quantico at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Yellow Jackets' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Mountain View Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to Randolph-Macon Academy's matchup: after Randolph-Macon Academy faces off against Immanuel Christian, they'll take on Mountain View Christian Academy again at 4:30 p.m. on May 15.
