Basketball Recap: Fairmont Takes a Loss

Fairmont was the 55-49 winner over Beavercreek when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Fairmont Firebirds fell 64-51 to the Beavercreek Beavers on Friday.

Fairmont's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Beavercreek, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Fairmont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-54 victory against Dunbar on the 8th. As for Beavercreek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 57-39 loss against Miamisburg on the 10th.
