Volleyball Recap: Great Crossing Extends Winning Streak to Four

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Great Crossing walked away with it. They came out on top against the Franklin County Flyers by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Warhawks, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Jenna Browning went supernova, getting 24 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Great Crossing was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Franklin County only served six.

Drew Bevington and Alex Perkins certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Bevington had ten digs and two aces, while Perkins had ten assists and seven digs.

Great Crossing's victory bumped their record up to 24-12. As for Franklin County, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 23-15 record.

As of now, neither Great Crossing nor the Flyers have any future games scheduled.
