Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Marion Local walked away with it. They blew past the Lehman Catholic Cavaliers, posting a 42-12 win. The Flyers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 30 points or more this season.

Lehman Catholic lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Turner Lachey, who threw for 266 yards and two touchdowns. A healthy portion of that aerial production (97 yards to be exact) went to Gus Richard, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Marion Local's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Lehman Catholic, they moved to 10-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Marion Local will welcome Fort Recovery at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lehman Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
