Soccer Game Preview: Westover Christian Academy vs. Galileo

The Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs will challenge the Galileo Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Westover Christian Academy will be strutting in after a win while Galileo will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Westover Christian Academy earned a 3-1 victory over Roanoke Valley Christian. Westover Christian Academy haven't had any issues with Roanoke Valley Christian recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Mollie Grace Lackey and Sophia Seibert scored all three of Westover Christian Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Meanwhile, Galileo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Altavista.

Galileo's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-2. As for Westover Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3-1.

Everything went Westover Christian Academy's way against Galileo in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Westover Christian Academy made off with a 7-0 win.
