Soccer Recap: Calvary Christian Takes a Loss

If Calvary Christian was riding high fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Tabernacle Christian last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Calvary Christian Cougar came up short against the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks on Monday, falling 9-0.

Calvary Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Forsyth Home Educators, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Raleigh Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on April 1st. As for Forsyth Home Educators, they will challenge Winston Salem Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forsyth Home Educators will be up against Winston Salem Christian's rather soft defense (which has allowed six goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
